Authorities in Abu Dhabi have announced a program that enables drivers to receive fewer traffic points or have their licenses renewed. If a driver has fewer than 24 black points on their record, they can get eight points removed. By enrolling in educational courses and paying the required costs, individuals who have accrued more than 24 points will be eligible to regain their driving license.
The Abu Dhabi Police platform, located on the first floor of the Mushrif Mall Center, offers workshops and courses for anyone who would like to use this service. It operates from 4 to 10 p.m. on October 20 to November 20, 2025.
Drivers who commit major traffic infractions are subject to black points, the number of which is determined by the seriousness of the infraction. When a driver accrues 24 points in a single year, their driver's license is typically suspended.
