Al Wasl University

The Alwasl University operates programs aimed at foreign students, including non-Muslims. Instruction is offered in Arabic, French and English.

Al Wasl University is a charitable institution of higher education, founded by His Excellency Juma Al Majid and established its first nucleus in 1986 AD under the auspices of the Government of Dubai to be a platform for science and a tributary center for human development and human building, and an effective tool in serving the Emirati community.

Al Wasl University is concerned with science and knowledge, with the aim of confirming the distinctive cultural identity of the Emirati society in various scientific fields.

The university offers free study for students at the undergraduate level in Islamic studies and the Arabic language, and for nominal fees at the level of postgraduate programs and others.

Studying at the university is based on the semester system of eight semesters, in which the academic year is divided into two independent semesters, and the study period for obtaining a bachelor’s degree is four years.
