All of the intercity buses that run from Dubai to the other emirates now have free wi-fi according to the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai. With free Wi-Fi and internet available to all 259 intercity buses, traveling to Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Fujairah has never been easier.
The service will be accessible on PCs, tablets, and smartphones during the trip and travellers will now be able to check emails, keep up on work, and access the internet while traveling.
The project fits with the RTA's larger plans to address community requirements and speed up digital transformation across its services.
By making bus rides more pleasurable and efficient, the RTA is demonstrating its dedication to enhancing everyday mobility, which is in line with the UAE's Digital Government Strategy.
