All valet parking service providers to obtain official licenses before operating in Abu Dhabi

A recent decree from Abu Dhabi's local authorities mandates that all valet parking service companies obtain official licenses prior to operating within the emirate.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) issued a notice explaining that providing valet parking services without a license or abusing one that already exists is illegal and that violators will face legal repercussions. According to the announcement, organizations need to get legal licenses from the ITC. To guarantee compliance and keep a secure, orderly environment, field inspection teams conduct routine monitoring campaigns at service locations.

In accordance with approved standards, the ITC advised pertinent organizations, including hotels, shopping malls, and service providers, to examine their legal status and confirm the validity of their permits.

The center emphasized how crucial it is for the general public to select authorized companies when utilizing valet parking services to protect their rights and guarantee the security of their cars. Official communication channels will be used to receive allegations of unlawful activities or infractions pertaining to valet parking services, the ITC confirmed.
