Annual Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention Campaign; free medical services to workers in Sharjah

The 14th annual Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention Campaign, initiated by the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), will provide free health screenings, medical services, and safety awareness programs to thousands of workers in Sharjah.

With the slogan "Your Safety is Our Priority," the campaign is scheduled to launch on July 3 and seeks to virtually reach 500,000 community members and over 10,000 outdoor workers. It reflects the UAE's 2025 "Year of Community" theme and aligns with the countrywide restriction on noon work during the hottest summer months.

Mohammed Al Zarooni, director of MoHAP's Sharjah Office, and Mona Al Hawai, chairperson of the Friends of Kidney Patients' board of directors, were among the authorities who made the announcement during a press conference at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
