Residents of the United Arab Emirates will be able to enter Armenia without a visa as of July 1. The validity of a traveler's residency visa must last for at least six months beyond the date of admission. Residents of the landlocked nation were previously eligible for a visa upon arrival, but only UAE nationals were allowed entry without a visa.
Travel for business, pleasure, or tourism is now permitted without a visa for stays of up to 90 days throughout any 180-day period according to the new policy. All Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) passport holders are covered, as are anyone with a current residency permit from any of the six Gulf nations.
