The Community Development Authority was established by decree of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, in July 2008.
The Authority has been responsible for organizing and developing community development frameworks in the emirate. The Authority’s responsibilities include raising the standards of social services in the Emirate of Dubai.
The Community Development Authority cooperates in its programs and services with the concerned authorities in order to achieve the main objectives of the development sector and develop the necessary infrastructure to do so.
