The Abu Dhabi Police and the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued warnings after reports of fog and poor visibility were received in various areas of Abu Dhabi on Saturday morning. To prevent accidents, drivers are advised to drive very carefully and to abide by safety rules.
Fog formation could decrease horizontal vision between 5:45 and 9:00 am on October 11, according to the NCM, especially over certain coastal and interior western locations.
Weather forecasts for the next few days are being closely monitored by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), in collaboration with the NCM, the Ministry of Interior, and other partner organizations.
Unstable weather is expected to begin on Friday and last until the middle of next week in the United Arab Emirates. Visibility may be hampered by convective clouds, rains, high winds, and blowing dust in the northern, eastern, and western regions as well as in some interior locations.
