This year, Dubai Design Week will return for its eleventh edition, and it appears to be greater than ever. Top designers, up-and-coming artists, and striking public projects will all be on display at Dubai Design Week, which runs from Tuesday, November 4, to Sunday, November 9.
This year's theme, "Community," is a response to the UAE's Year of Community and will bring some of the world's top designers together with up-and-coming artists.
Throughout the week, d3's Waterfront Terrace will offer exhibitions of art, architecture, fashion, and design.
The overall theme of community will be explored through Instagram-friendly outdoor installations created by designers, architects, collectives, creative practitioners, and design-led brands.
There will be a limited-edition art and design fair called Editions from Thursday, November 6 through Sunday, November 9. It will feature pieces from 50 galleries, design studios, and collectives both domestically and abroad.
A marketplace will be set up where manufacturers can display and sell a variety of goods, including jewelry, fashion, and home goods.
There will be live concerts, kid-friendly activities, and some culinary delights at the market.
Architects and designers have also been invited to create outdoor furniture for public areas as part of Dubai Design Week; if their design is chosen, it may become a reality.
