Dubai International Airport has been ranked among the world’s top five for low-cost flights in the 2025 OAG Megahubs report. The study, which measures destinations, connectivity, and low-cost carrier share, placed DXB fifth globally and the highest in the region, marking a rise from last year. The report noted that Dubai now offers the largest volume of low-cost destinations, with 280 cities served, a 4% increase from 2024. DXB recorded 19,727 low-cost connections, making up 28% of flights, with flydubai’s vast affordable network driving its strong performance.
