The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council, has given his approval to the "Dubai Orchestra" project, a historic cultural endeavor that aims to increase the visibility of UAE arts and culture internationally.
The Dubai Orchestra, under the direction of Dubai Culture, was established in collaboration with the public and commercial sectors. The project will foster new generations capable of advancing the message of cultural and human creativity while showcasing Dubai's position on the international arts scene.
In addition to inspiring and empowering Emirati talent, the orchestra initiative aims to create a dynamic, creative atmosphere that draws outstanding and avant-garde artists from all over the world and promotes the local music industry.
Among the many projects the orchestra will start are youth-focused programs and productive collaborations with local organizations.
