The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will auction off 80 stunning license plates in August, and you might win one.
License plates with smaller numbers are generally more expensive in Dubai. There will be 350 attractive plates with two, three, four, and five digits available for grabs on Monday, August 11.
The cost of the plates can be estimated by looking at the 2024 winning offer of Dhs7.32 million for a two-digit number plate (AA16) and Dhs4.05 million for a three-digit plate (AA999).
Plates bearing the following codes will be up for auction this time:
H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
The auction will start one week after registration opens on Monday, August 4. Every competitor must have a current traffic file in the Emirate of Dubai for the five-day competition.
Bidders must submit a Dhs 5,000 security check made payable to the RTA and a Dhs 120 participation fee in order to participate in what is anticipated to be a popular (and expensive) event.
You can pay at the Customer Happiness Centers in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, and Deira, or online on the RTA website, if you're interested in joining up. Successful bidders have ten working days from the time they successfully get their desire plate to finish the payment.
