The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai intends to introduce new taxi rates that will be applied to trips reserved via e-hail smartphone apps.
The authority will implement new booking fees and peak-hour prices that change based on the day of the week. The new fee structure will also increase the minimum taxi fare.
