Emirates has issued a reminder that new regulations on carrying power banks will come into force starting October 1, 2025. The airline previously announced that the use of power banks during flights will be prohibited.
Beginning Wednesday, passengers will not be allowed to use or charge rechargeable battery packs while on board.
As outlined in the travel advisory on Emirates’ official website: “From October 1, passengers may carry only one power bank, which must be kept in cabin baggage. Use or charging of power banks on board is not permitted, and they are strictly prohibited in checked luggage.”
