Emirates NBD implements fee for international transfers made via the app or online banking

Emirates NBD said that it will charge for international transactions done using its app or online banking. The bank informed customers via email that they would be charged Dh26.25 for remittances, including those made through DirectRemit, as of September 1, 2025.

In less than 60 seconds, Emirates NBD customers can send money to India, the Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, and the UK via the digital money transfer tool DirectRemit.

There are now Dh0 in fees associated with remittances made through this service. Additionally, the bank will charge a fee for local or international transfer cancellations.
