GITEX TechCation 2026 set to become the worlds largest technology and AI event

As directed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's Prime Minister and Vice President and ruler of Dubai, GITEX TechCation 2026 in Dubai will grow into the biggest technology and AI event in the world.

The world's top tech firms, startups, investors, and innovators will come together for TechCation, a citywide celebration of creativity and technology.

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) formed a Strategic Partnership to support and promote Gitex TechCation as the first step in getting ready for the first-of-its-kind global event.

By curating TechCation programs, advertising, and immersive experiences using the emirate's tourism and cultural networks, the event will be able to leave conference centers and expand throughout the city.

Designed to promote longer stays, the initiative supports DET's mission to create Dubai the best city to visit, live, work, and invest in.

Gitex TechCation backs the Dubai Economic Agenda D33's goals, which include making Dubai one of the top three cities in the world by 2033. The event enhances Dubai's reputation as a worldwide hub for talent, foreign direct investment, and business by integrating the largest tech and investor network in the world with the city's tourism and cultural scene.
