As the Hijri year 1447 AH begins, private sector employees in UAE will get Friday, June 27, as a paid holiday in observance of Islamic New Year.
Some employees who receive Saturday and Sunday as weekends will take advantage of a three-day weekend, which runs from June 27 to June 29. It is anticipated that regular business hours will resume on Monday, June 30.
Employees in the public sector will also receive comparable holiday days. All employees in the UAE receive equal breaks throughout the year thanks to a single holiday policy that has been put in place for both public and private sector personnel
