ICP introduces flexible payment plan for service fees

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has unveiled a new program that will allow citizens to pay government service fees in installments using their credit cards. This initiative is intended to improve residents' convenience and financial flexibility.

Under the theme "The Authority at Your Service," the program was introduced at the authority's participation at GITEX Global 2025 and highlights the UAE's dedication to enhancing community well-being and expanding access to public services.

The new payment method is in line with the UAE's Year of the Community 2025 theme, "Hand in Hand," which reflects the nation's continuous attempts to streamline government procedures, raise consumer satisfaction, and better citizens' quality of life in general.

The initiative has received backing from several prominent financial institutions, such as First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Mashreq Bank, RAKBANK, Commercial International Bank.

A partnership with Visa is also part of the program, supporting the UAE's efforts to create a digital payment environment that is more adaptable, cashless, and user-friendly.
