Registration services for births and deaths have been discontinued by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).
"Emirates Health Services (EHS) now provides the birth and death certificate services that were previously provided by MoHAP," the ministry stated. The announcement was posted on the ministry's website, which no longer offers the service alternatives. Additionally, the ministry no longer offers birth certificate issuance via WhatsApp.
The services can be found on the website of EHS, which oversees the northern emirates' public healthcare system (Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah).
