On Thursday, July 10, Q Mobility announced that new paid parking zones had been established at several sites in Abu Dhabi.
In Eastern Mangroves, Dolphin Park, and three sectors along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street—specifically, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Park 1, 2, 4, and 5 as well as Al Qurm Plaza—Q Mobility reported that the Mawaqif paid parking system has been enabled.
Mawaqif will be implemented beginning Thursday, July 10, in compliance with the laws now in effect throughout the UAE capital.
According to Q Mobility, the implementation of Mawaqif in a number of Abu Dhabi Island areas is a component of the company's continuous initiatives to control traffic and improve the effectiveness of public parking usage throughout the emirate.
The announcement comes after infrastructure projects, such as curb painting, directional signpost installation, and public awareness signage distribution, were finished.
In order to streamline the Darb app payment procedure, the business advised all customers to follow the directions on signs and make use of the digital channels that are accessible.
