Nominations are now open for the Dh900,000 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, inviting registered nurses worldwide who have made exceptional contributions to apply.
Patient care, nursing leadership, nursing education, social or community service, and healthcare research, innovation, and entrepreneurship are all recognized with this award. To showcase their diverse contributions, applicants can choose one primary and up to two secondary areas of contribution before submitting their applications.
Thousands of nurses from more than 200 nations have participated in the award since its inception. More than 100,000 nurses registered for the most recent edition, which was a 28% increase over the previous one. Applications for the 2026 edition can be filed on www.asterguardians.com in different languages by November 10, 2025.
A multi-stage evaluation procedure, independently managed by Ernst & Young LLP (EY), and supervised by a distinguished jury made up of well-known and esteemed global healthcare executives, is used to choose the nursing award winners. In May 2026, to commemorate International Nurses Day, a distinguished worldwide awards event will take place once the Top 10 contenders have been revealed after a thorough evaluation.
