Five significant marine transit stations have recently undergone upgrades, according to the RTA. Phase two of a project to upgrade the marine waiting spaces at Dubai Marina has been finished, according to the city's Roads and Transport Authority.
The new locations—Al Fahidi, Baniyas, Al Seef, Sheikh Zayed Road, and Bluewaters—are now completely air-conditioned and furnished with a number of modern amenities. The stations at Marina Mall, Marina Mall 1, Marina Promenade, Marina Terrace, and Marina Walk were previously refurbished in May.
The most recent improvements include sophisticated air conditioning systems, special waiting spaces for patrons and tenacious individuals, and other improvements. Each station may be identified by its unique teak wood appearance, which pays homage to the traditional wooden abras that have navigated Dubai's seas for decades.
