Roads and Transport Authority has expanded its Bus-On-Demand service to four more areas in Dubai — Al Qusais, JVC, Al Warqa’a and Dubai Investments Park — with free rides currently available in the new zones.
The app-based service allows commuters to book mini buses that operate like shared taxis without fixed stops. Each vehicle can carry up to 13 passengers and now serves 15 neighbourhoods across the city, including Business Bay, DIFC, Al Barsha and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Operating daily, fares start from Dhs5 per trip, while interzone rides cost Dhs7 and Business Bay trips are priced at Dhs2. The service also offers six interzone routes linking key areas across Dubai.
