
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday that five additional bus lines will begin service on Friday, August 29.
Route 31 Dubai Outsource City – Dubai Silicon Oasis
During peak hours, this new public bus route will connect Dubai Silicon Oasis with Dubai Outsource City; it will run every 20 minutes.
Routes 62A and 62B
RTA split Route 62 into two: 62A, running every 30 minutes between Al Qusais Industrial Area and Al Qusais Metro, and 62B, every 30 minutes between Al Qusais Metro and Ras Al Khor–Samari Residences.
Route F26A Onpassive Bus Station – Al Quoz Industrial Area 4
RTA says the new route, with buses every 30 minutes at peak hours, will ease travel within Al Quoz Industrial Area.
Route X91 Al Ghubaiba Bus Station – Jebel Ali Bus Station
The new X91 express service will run between Al Ghubaiba and Jebel Ali Bus Stations without stopping at Business Bay Metro. Passengers to Business Bay can use the updated Route 91, operating every 30 minutes between Al Ghubaiba and Business Bay Metro Station.
Adjustments to Existing Bus Routes:
Route 7: Changed from circular to two-way, between Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Satwa Bus Station.
Route 91: Shortened to run between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Business Bay Metro Station (northbound).
Route F62: Changed from circular to two-way, between Emirates Metro Station and Nad Al Hamar.
Route 77: Changed from circular to two-way, between Baniyas Square Metro Station and Al Garhoud.
Route X25: Shortened to run between Al Karama Bus Station and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Route 50: Continues between International City Bus Station and Business Bay Bus Station, no longer serving Dubai Outsource City; further changes in International City coming in phase two.
Route 21A: Shortened to run between Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
Route 21B: Shortened to run between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Al Quoz Bus Station.
Route J01: Adjusted path within Jumeirah Village Circle.
