Select Group acquires Pentominium Tower - the worlds tallest residential high-rise tower upon completion
08 Dec 2023
NewsThe Pentominium skyscraper, which will be the world's highest residential high-rise skyscraper when it is completed, has been bought by Dubai-based real estate developer Select Group.
Situated in Dubai Marina, the project encountered difficulties throughout the world financial crisis in 2008, ultimately leading to its termination. Emirates Auction conducted an auction of the complex earlier this year, following the Dubai Courts' approved administration process. Select Group won the $100 million proposal for the development following a very competitive bidding procedure with 46 offers.
The highest residential tower's height and number of stories were kept confidential by the corporation. The other highest residential skyscrapers in the world are Marina 101, 111 West, Park Avenue 432, and Central Park Tower. At 1,394 feet, or 425 metres, high, Marina 101 is the second-tallest skyscraper in the United Arab Emirates after Burj Khalifa.
For the creation of the skyscraper, the developer has partnered with the interior design firm Mitchell & Eades, the architectural firm Woods Bagot, and the engineering consultant WSP.
