An automated lease contract attestation service has made it possible for Sharjah residents to sign up online for gas, water, and electricity rents. The Sharjah Municipality and the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) have announced the launch of the new digital service, which will remove the requirement for consumers to visit relevant agencies or pay electricity deposits.
The municipality's digital transformation strategy aims to improve customer experience and expedite service delivery. The new service was introduced through electronic integration with government agencies around the emirate.
The attestation procedure is now finished using information and transactions from the municipality's system thanks to electronic integration and the unified system.
The consumer subsequently receives a text message with the necessary electricity deposit costs once the attested contract is automatically transferred to SEWA. The service is linked after payment is received.
The Aqari platform is a unique example of government digital services in the real estate industry, and it offers streamlined procedures for lease contract attestation and energy service connection.
