The 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) at Expo Centre Sharjah, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council.
Under the theme "Communication for Quality of Life," the two-day forum, which is being organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), will bring together 237 speakers from around the world and include more than 110 activities that cover five major priorities: public health, education, food security, environmental sustainability, and the green economy.
In addition to seven motivational speeches from world leaders, the program will include 51 workshops discussing the future of sustainability, health, education, and food security. 22 workshops will also provide participants the chance to interact with professionals and learn firsthand. The winners of the Sharjah Government Communication Award (SGCA), which recognizes quality and innovation in government communication globally, will be announced at the end of the session.
Thirty partners, including government agencies, global organizations, research facilities, and top media and technology businesses, are supporting the 14th edition. 22 interactive platforms in all have been developed to promote dialogue and teamwork, allowing users to share ideas and jointly develop projects that improve people's quality of life.
The Department of Government Relations in Sharjah, the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Invest Bank, and United Arab Emirates University are among the strategic partners that are working together to organize IGCF 2025.
