This week, Global Village's renowned Season 30 will begin with a spectacular display of 600 drones, wing-suited skydivers, and fireworks, among other entertainment events. Starting at 6 p.m. on October 15, the festivities will honor three decades of Global Village with a combination of spectacular lights and live music.
Retumbar street drummers and delegates from each pavilion will kick off the festivities with the Parade of the World. The night sky will be illuminated by a spectacular drone and pyrotechnic show that will form a glowing '30' with the season's theme message.
The season's first fireworks show will take place after 600 drones return at 9 p.m. to unveil welcoming messages. A spectacular show of light and fire will be created as wing-suited skydivers soar through the lit display.
This year, visitors to Global Village can also expect Dubai Police supercars, light displays, and a number of new attractions. There will be eleven specially themed rooms in the Dragon Kingdom, making it an immersive walk-through experience.
Dragon Lake also features a laser show for visitors to enjoy. A significant enhancement was made to Dragon Lake this year, as a new screen that will provide better clarity for the different visual formations replaced the one that now holds the Guinness World Record. To further enhance the visual experience, new fire effects will be added to the famous dragon in the middle of the lake.
There will be a variety of theatrical and cultural performances for guests. Additionally, the main stage has undergone renovations to create a completely new appearance and accommodate more guests. The last day of Global Village will be May 10, 2026. 10.5 million people visited the multicultural attraction last year, setting a new record.
