According to the Henley Passport Index's mid-year 2025 report, the United Arab Emirates currently has the most powerful passport in the Arab world and comes in at number eight worldwide. This is the highest global mobility ranking an Arab country has ever attained.
The UAE's growing diplomatic reach and open, proactive foreign policy are demonstrated by the 183 destinations to which the UAE passport grants visa-free or visa-on-arrival access.
The UAE has seen one of the biggest rises in the index's history over the last ten years, rising from 42nd in 2015 to eighth in 2025.
