The UAE will start Hajj registration for citizens planning to perform the pilgrimage in 2027 on September 14, according to the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat.
Applications will remain open until September 25 through the authority’s website and smart application. Applicants will be assessed through an automated selection process based on approved eligibility criteria and Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2018.
The final list of selected pilgrims is expected to be announced on October 9, after which successful applicants will be contacted to complete the required formalities.
The authority said the early start will provide sufficient time to manage registration, selection and other arrangements for the upcoming Hajj season.
