The United Arab Emirates has been ranked as the safest nation in the world. According to a survey conducted by Numbeo, a living database site, the United Arab Emirates is officially the world's safest country.
The UAE, which had previously ranked behind the small European country, surpassed Andorra to take the top spot with a mid-year global safety index score of 85.2. Andorra's index score of 84.8 placed it behind the United Arab Emirates, despite having a population of only 80,000, which is smaller than several neighborhoods in Dubai.
When calculating its final result, Numbeo's safety index takes into account five distinct elements. Survey responses from users of the living database's website over the previous 36 months are used to calculate the score.
The overall index score is based on worries about violent crime, burglary, and prejudice, as well as general perceptions of crime levels and felt safety when strolling at night. A higher number indicates that the nation is regarded as extremely safe. The platform updates scores on a regular basis.
