Wizz Air has opened a flight from the United Arab Emirates to a renowned coastal city in Europe. The low-cost airline will begin operating flights to Larnaca, Cyprus, from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi in November.
On Monday, November 15, 2025, this route will open, with four weekly services operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. With one-way flights starting at about Dhs100, which is essentially less than lunch, it's among the most affordable overseas getaways available this winter.
Another inexpensive entry point to Europe without the long-haul cost is what Abu Dhabi travelers can look forward to. It restores Cyprus's essential connection to one of the most vibrant cities in the Middle East.
As both business and leisure travelers want a low-key, affordable way to connect the UAE and Cyprus, the airline says it anticipates high demand.
At these prices, flights that are now available for purchase on the Wizz Air website and app won't be available for long.
