AED 2000 fine and 15-day impound for two-wheeler violations in Ras Al Khaimah

Two-wheeler riders who violate traffic laws in Ras Al Khaimah risk having their vehicle confiscated for 15 days and being fined 2000 Dirhams. This includes people who are operating electric scooters, motorbikes, and other two-wheelers without the required license or registration. Because of safety concerns and the potential for accidents, the authorities are taking strong action against this practice.

Ras Al Khaimah will enforce stricter laws regarding vehicle and traffic violations. It is recommended that two-wheeler users make sure their vehicles are correctly registered and licensed in order to prevent fines and imprisonment. Put on protective clothing, such as safety jackets, respect traffic laws and speed limits, pay attention to pedestrians and other cars, steer clear of unapproved or dangerous roads are measures to be followed by two wheeler riders.
