UAE travellers can now use Jaywan cards to book Etihad Airways flights online, making Etihad the first airline to accept the UAE’s national domestic payment card.
The payment option is available on etihad.com for UAE-based customers across Etihad’s global network. Jaywan Royal cardholders will also soon receive exclusive fare discounts and priority access benefits through Etihad Guest.
Etihad Airways now allows UAE travellers to use Jaywan cards for online flight bookings across its global network. It is the first airline to accept the UAE’s national domestic card, launched in July 2026 by Al Etihad Payments. The integration forms part of a wider partnership, with Jaywan Royal cardholders set to receive exclusive Etihad Guest benefits, including fare discounts and priority access.
The move supports the UAE’s efforts to expand Jaywan’s use across tourism and other sectors.
