31st edition Dubai Shopping Festival returns with spectacular deals and entertainment

The Dubai Shopping Festival is back, offering over a month of unbeatable deals, dazzling fireworks, spectacular drone shows, and major concerts. The festival kicked off on December 5 and runs until January 11, bringing a citywide lineup of daily entertainment, outdoor events, and shopping excitement.

Fireworks remain a festival highlight with shows at Dubai Festival City Mall every night at 8:30pm, and in Hatta on December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27 at 8pm. New Year’s Eve fireworks will light up Souk Al Seef, Bluewaters, and The Beach JBR. Bluewaters is also hosting two free nightly drone shows featuring more than 1,000 LED drones at 8pm and 10pm. Until December 25, the show “Dubai, City of Dreams” takes audiences through the city’s landmarks, followed by “Celebration” from Christmas onward. Both are accompanied by a Dubai-inspired score composed by Hans Zimmer.

Shoppers can enjoy huge promotions from over 800 brands across 3,500 outlets, along with raffles and prize draws throughout the five-week festival.

The entertainment lineup includes performances by Pitbull, Franz Ferdinand, and David Guetta. Candlelight concerts in the Hatta mountains will feature music from Vivaldi to Coldplay, with tickets from AED 70. Sole DXB returns from December 12 to 14 with global headliners and unique retail pop-ups, while e& MOTB will run from January 1 to 11, offering 27 new food concepts and a dedicated MAC Cosmetics beauty zone.
