Abu Dhabi unveils initiative to renew Economic Licenses expired for over three years

An initiative to update economic licenses that have been expired for three years or longer has been started by Abu Dhabi for investors.

Investors whose licenses expired before 2010 can amend their status or renew them under the initiative's first phase in November 2025, , which completely waives late renewal fees. We will later publish a schedule for licenses that expired after 2010.

The grace period was announced by the Abu Dhabi Registration and Licensing Authority (ADRA) and helps investors alter the status of their expired licenses without incurring penalties.
