Multiple travelers can now pass through immigration inspections in a matter of seconds with the AI-powered corridor at Dubai Airport (DXB). With the new service, up to ten people can go through simultaneously without stopping or presenting identification.
The Director-General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, stated that the airport systems now recognize passenger data even before they reach border crossings.
Due to its ability to handle numerous passengers simultaneously, the new AI-powered corridor also doubles airport capacity and speeds up procedures. AI also aids in the detection of infractions by sending any suspect passports straight to forgery specialists. Al Marri said, "
The new service is the first of its type globally and is a component of a larger system that makes "boundless travel" accessible to anyone, according to Al Marri.
