Al Layan Oasis is set to enhance Dubai’s tourism offering, as announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Spanning 10 million square feet, the project will feature a 2.5 million sq ft central lake, along with recreational facilities, sports trails, camping zones and unique desert experiences. The destination will be divided into four main parks — Hub Park, Family Park, Canyon Park and Trailer Park — and four themed oases catering to different visitor segments.
Facilities will include 100 caravan sites, an open-air cinema, amphitheatre, food truck plaza, family rest areas and retail outlets. Designed to attract 330,000 visitors annually, the oasis will offer 1,000 parking spaces and 14km of walking and cycling tracks, including 4km of elevated paths linked to Al Marmoom.
The project is part of a Dh4 billion package under Dubai’s Blue and Green Roadmap.
