Burj Al Arab will close for 18 months for a major restoration, operator Jumeirah Group announced on April 15. Known for its sail-shaped design and often dubbed ‘seven-star’, the landmark has long defined Dubai’s skyline and identity.
The renovation will refresh interiors while preserving the hotel’s character, with Jumeirah Group likening it to restoring a work of art. Paris-based architect Tristan Auer will lead the project.
