During the UAE's National Day celebrations, the iconic Burj Khalifa will take center stage with a brand-new lighting system.
In order to combine state-of-the-art technology with the architectural artistry of the building, the 829.8-meter tall structure—the highest skyscraper in the world—has been equipped with a dynamic RGBW lighting system, Emaar Properties announced on Thursday.
On December 1, the new system will make its premiere during the celebrations of Eid Al Etihad. The Burj Khalifa is approaching a significant milestone and will commemorate its 15th anniversary on January 4, 2025.
In order to generate intricate lighting effects, the new system uses dynamic RGBW technology, which replaces static lights with color-changing, programmable lamps.
