Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) announced on Thursday that it is offering free 15GB of roaming data and unlimited outgoing calls to UAE residents stranded abroad due to flight suspensions.
In a message to customers, the UAE’s second-largest telecom operator said the complimentary roaming bundle is available for users in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and also includes 500 incoming minutes. The special offer is valid for three days.
On Wednesday, du also confirmed that its infrastructure and core systems are operating normally despite ongoing regional military tensions involving the US, Israel and Iran.
