One of the world’s largest art installations is planned for the Dubai desert, with CLIO, a 10km-long immersive artwork, set to transform more than one million square metres at the Dubai Desert SkyDive site in Margham.
Created by contemporary artist Agron Hoti, the project will feature 25,000 modular artworks combined with digital and video elements, turning the desert into a large-scale cultural experience for millions of visitors.
At its centre will be Clio House, a year-round cultural hub for exhibitions, talks and creative collaborations. The project, backed by football legends including Roberto Baggio and Francesco Totti, is being developed on land owned by Shamal Holding.
CLIO Oasis is targeted to open in 2027, with full completion planned for 2033.
