Dubai’s GDRFA has launched Click & Travel, a mobile immigration service that allows officers to process passengers using handheld devices. The system uses biometric verification, facial recognition, e-passport reading and automated checks to speed up immigration procedures and improve passenger flow.
The system securely connects to official databases and enables officers to assist travellers away from fixed counters. It officially launched on September 7 following trials at Dubai International Airport.
