Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has introduced a new loyalty programme for public transport users.
The initiative, called nol Plus, will offer points to regular riders of the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram and other transit services.
Announced on Monday, November 17, the scheme will also let users earn and redeem points at major shopping destinations such as Dubai Mall.
More information will be shared on Friday, November 21, but a teaser suggests that gold, silver and blue nol card holders will all be eligible.
The rewards programme will be integrated into the newly upgraded Nol Pay app, which features a sleeker design and additional tools.
