Dubai Metro Gold Line set to transform city travel by 2032

The Dubai Metro Gold Line, expected to open in 2032, will play a major role in enhancing the city's public transport network. Stretching 42km with 18 stations, the fully underground route will connect 15 key communities and cater to around 1.5 million residents.

Designed to improve connectivity and reduce travel times, the Gold Line will become Dubai's first fully integrated underground metro corridor. Although the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has not officially announced all station locations, its 2032 transport map provides a glimpse of the line's anticipated route.

The Gold Line is also set to strengthen network integration, linking with the Red Line at two points, the Green Line at one point, and the Etihad Rail passenger service at two locations.

The upcoming Dubai Metro Gold Line is expected to include 18 stations across key residential, commercial, and leisure destinations:

  • Al Ghubaiba Interchange
  • Al Mina Street

  • Al Satwa Road
