Want to do more than watch the celebrations this New Year’s Eve? Dubai Police are inviting volunteers to support one of the world’s biggest NYE events. Volunteers will help with crowd control, public engagement and administrative tasks. Over 1,100 people have already signed up across seven volunteer paths, helping ensure a safe, smooth and enjoyable night for residents and visitors.
How to take part:
Bicycle Teams: Patrol key celebration areas on bikes, offering a friendly and highly visible presence during the festivities.
Cavalry Teams: Support operations alongside Dubai Police’s mounted unit, adding both assistance and ceremonial flair to the event.
Positive Spirit Teams: Interact directly with the public, promoting positivity, cooperation and a welcoming atmosphere — ideal for outgoing volunteers.
Hatta Volunteering: Help manage celebrations in Hatta, ensuring events in the mountain destination run smoothly.
Photography: Document the celebrations and capture behind-the-scenes moments of the teams at work.
Remote Support: Provide administrative and logistical assistance from off-site to keep operations running efficiently.
General Volunteering: Support crowd control and guest services, playing a vital role in safety and visitor experience.
How to register:
