Dubai Police has announced that its network of 33 Smart Police Stations (SPS) across Dubai offers 24/7 services without the need for human staff.
Residents and visitors can access 32 services through the stations, grouped into four categories: criminal reports and complaints, traffic services and accidents, certificates and permits, and community services. The smart systems support multiple languages and allow users to file criminal reports through live video calls with investigating officers, who guide them through the process and send statements electronically for digital signing.
Additional services include cybercrime reporting, bounced cheque complaints, loss and criminal status certificates, traffic clearance certificates, permits, and community-focused services. The Smart Police Stations initiative is part of Dubai’s vision to become one of the world’s smartest cities and has earned a recognition from Guinness World Records as the first police stations globally to operate without human intervention.
