Dubai ranked Worlds Cleanest City for sixth consecutive year in Global Power City Index

Dubai has been named the world’s cleanest city for the sixth consecutive year, according to the Global Power City Index published by the Institute for Urban Strategies at Japan’s Mori Memorial Foundation.

The recognition highlights Dubai’s commitment to maintaining a clean, sustainable environment while strengthening its position as a leading global city to live, work, and visit.

In the latest Global Power City Index rankings, Dubai recorded a 100 percent satisfaction score for city cleanliness under the Environment pillar, surpassing many major international cities evaluated in the study.

The index is one of the world’s most prominent measures of urban competitiveness and assesses cities based on six key areas: quality of life, environment, economy, research and development, cultural interaction, and accessibility, using more than 70 global indicators.
