Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that its air-conditioned rest areas for delivery riders are fully prepared for the summer season. The initiative aims to improve rider welfare, enhance road safety, and help reduce accident risks during the hotter months.
Around 40 rest facilities across key areas of Dubai, including Hessa Street, Al Khawaneej, Al Barsha, Al Satwa, Oud Metha, Al Karama, and Arjan, have been prepared for the summer season. The locations were selected in coordination with delivery companies based on demand and operational data.
Designed to support Dubai’s growing delivery sector, each facility can accommodate around 10 riders and includes dedicated motorcycle parking and other amenities for rider comfort.
