Dubai will ring in the New Year with more than 48 fireworks displays lighting up the sky at midnight on December 31. The Security Industry Regulatory Authority has announced the approved locations for viewing shows across the emirate. Global Village will be a key attraction, staging seven fireworks displays in one night to mark New Year celebrations across seven time zones. Around 40 locations will offer views of the spectacle, including world-famous shows at the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab, along with many other viewing spots across the city.
